Clinical Excellence Grant Program
Improving medication safety and efficiency
The CareFusion Foundation provides grant opportunities for U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organizations working to achieve clinical excellence and establish best practices in healthcare safety and efficiency.
The CareFusion Foundation is currently seeking grant projects that measurably improve the safe and efficient management and administration of medication. As part of this grants program, we will fund select programs and research projects that help implement measurable clinical initiatives to reduce medication errors, improve clinician workflow, increase pharmacy efficiency or drive medication use compliance. The deadline to submit a grant proposal is February 28, 2014.
The CareFusion Foundation will award a total of $500,000 in grants to eligible organizations. Select recipients will receive a one-time grant of up to $50,000 each to implement evidence-based programs that drive best practices and that can be shared and adopted more broadly within the healthcare community.

This is the second year of the Clinical Excellence Grants program, which awarded more than $500,000 in grant funding to 11 U.S. nonprofit health care institutions earlier in 2013 to help develop and share infection prevention best practices. Learn more about our 2013 grant recipients.
