Vivek Jain is president of the Procedural Solutions operating segment for CareFusion.

In this role, Vivek has executive oversight and responsibility for CareFusion’s medical consumables products, including non-dedicated Infusion disposables, Respiratory disposables, Infection Prevention and Medical Specialties, as well as NeuroCare and Respiratory Diagnostics. Prior to this position, Vivek served as president of the Medical Technologies and Services business for CareFusion.

Before joining CareFusion, Vivek served as executive vice president of Strategy and Corporate Development at Cardinal Health. He was previously senior vice president and head of Healthcare Strategy, Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions for Philips Medical at Philips Electronics in Amsterdam, Netherlands. In this role, he had global oversight of the strategic planning process and responsibility for the financial analysis of all healthcare transactions.

Vivek was co-head of global healthcare investment banking at J.P. Morgan Securities for four years and began his career in 1994 with Hambrecht & Quist, which was later acquired by JPMorgan Chase.

Vivek holds his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Chicago.
