Executives

Tom Leonard is president of the Medical Systems operating segment for CareFusion.

In this role, Tom provides executive leadership and oversight for our Dispensing Technologies, Respiratory Care and Infusion businesses, as well as Enterprise Solutions, MedMined Services and Global Customer Support. Prior to this position, Tom served as president of the Dispensing Technologies business for CareFusion.

Before joining CareFusion, Tom served as senior vice president and general manager of the Clinical Services business of Cardinal Health and before that he was senior vice president and general manager of the Ambulatory Solutions division at McKesson Corporation. Tom also previously served as executive vice president of Operations for Picis, Inc., a developer of clinical software systems in acute care hospital settings, and held leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Millennium Healthcare, Inc. and Ernst & Young.

Tom began his career in the military, serving six years as lieutenant in the United States Navy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a master’s degree from Cornell University.
