Trays, Brushes, and Bulk Solutions

CareFusion offers bulk povidone-iodine (PVP-I) solutions and a full line of patient prep trays where chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) products aren't appropriate or indicated.

Use our bulk PVP-I solutions for patient preoperative prep (traditional two-step scrub and paint using cleansing solution and topical solution) on intact skin and mucous membranes, and for washing lacerations and abrasions.

Our patient prep trays contain components that are proven to be safe and effective, and can help reduce the risk of infection. We also offer a full line of surgical scrub brushes for hand scrubbing.
 

Patient prep trays are available in multiple configurations and include specialty trays for vaginal preps and eye surgery preps using PVP-I solutions and specially designed applicators.

These are the same CHG solutions found in several of the CareFusion preoperative trays, available for your convenience in bulk containers.

CHG is a water-soluble, broad-spectrum, fast-acting, persistent antimicrobial solution utilized for surgical hand scrub, patient preoperative preparation, catheter site prep and routine hand washing.

Scrub Care® PVP-I products include 7.5% cleansing solution (0.75% available iodine), 10% topical solution (1% available iodine). Choose from sizes ranging from 2-oz. bottles for single use to 1-gal. bottles for multiple uses.

Dry, sterile surgical care scrub brushes feature soft, flexible bristles with a plush sponge, a nail pick to maximize thorough hand cleaning and packaging that is easy to open with wet or dry hands.

The Prevail® antimicrobial gel is a fast-acting gel that makes preoperative preps easier. This unique gel comes in a specifically designed, easy to use applicator for excellent flow control.
