The Temno Evolution biopsy system from CareFusion offers many of the same features that made our original Temno^® biopsy needle a market leader, while establishing a new standard for procedural flexibility and performance.

The compact, ergonomically contoured body, tactile-enhanced plunger and soft, pliable finger grips give you increased comfort and allow for one-handed operation. Plus, its compact, lightweight design can help reduce tissue shear.

Features:

• Sharp cutting cannula edge assures an intact 1 or 2 cm core tissue sample and the two notch sizes—10 or 20 mm—provide controlled, precise sampling for a variety of procedural situations.

• Echogenic markings on cannula allow for precise ultrasound placement and centimeter depth markings assist in needle placement.

• Patent-pending, four-bevel tip is significantly sharper (up to 54% sharper than needles with standard bevel) for quick, easy penetration.

• Needle tip tracks straighter—up to 85% straighter compared to standard bevel designs, eliminating unwanted distal drift or deflection.
