The Pyxis StockStation system from CareFusion addresses cost and space constraints for stockrooms, warehouses and clinical areas. By using bar code technology and an intuitive user interface, this system assigns products to specific areas or patients and updates inventory and billing records automatically. Linking to the Pyxis SupplyCenter™ server, storeroom items are automatically reordered when established levels are reached. Electronic interfaces with multiple vendors reduce manual order entry and expedite order processing.
