Pyxis^® Infant Care Verification uses barcode technology to match mother/infant and infant/breast milk/supplemental nutrition. This helps reduce the risk of mislabeling in the NICU/PICU or similar care units from infection transmissions, including cytomegalovirus (CMV), HIV-1, and HTLV-I¹. You can manage breast milk inventory, expiration date and donor tracking, all while helping to eliminate breast milk administration errors and reduce infection transmission.
